Your deliveries—essential to hospitals, medical facilities, and patients—transport critical items like lifesaving medication, organs, tissue samples, medical equipment, and supplies.

We maintain the highest standards by partnering with Independent Contract Drivers who are customer-focused, attentive to details, and adhere to the highest ethical standards, including compliance with HIPAA and customer-specific requirements.

For our customers, we provide both routed and on-demand delivery services. Typically, new drivers begin with on-demand deliveries, with opportunities to shift to routed services as they become available.

 

Essential Requirements to Start Driving with Us:

  • 21 years or older.
  • 2015 or newer fuel-efficient vehicle.
  • Pass background check (MVR, criminal, and drug screening).
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration.
  • Commercial auto insurance with $100,000 coverage, listing Crosstown Couriers as an additional insured (A4DD insurance also acceptable).
  • Cargo insurance with a minimum of $5,000 coverage (A4DD insurance acceptable).
  • Occupational accident insurance (A4DD insurance acceptable).
  • HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogen certification (A4DD or Integrity Medical acceptable).
  • Sign the Independent Contractor Agreement and submit required documents.

 

*Crosstown Couriers will provide information on joining A4DD and the insurance/training they offer.

 

Your Onboarding Process:

  1. Click the ‘Apply Today’ button and fill out the form.
  2. Our Recruiting Manager will reach out to you.
  3. Attend a Discovery Meeting.
  4. Fulfill the listed requirements (details provided at the Discovery Meeting).
  5. Verify your qualifications.
  6. Complete the onboarding process and start earning.

 

What to Expect in Your First 4 to 6 Weeks:

During the onboarding period, we’ll ensure you understand our customers’ processes and requirements. We’ll guide you through using the CXT App and any customer-specific applications. Over the initial weeks, we will gradually increase your engagement with our customers, ensuring you meet their specific needs.

Additionally, if you haven’t already undergone a TSA process or obtained a TWIC card, we will offer you the opportunity to secure your TSA approval for handling Air Cargo.
